It is a vessel I heard about from my friend who is a large wholesale fish dealer, named the Healthy Grin. They come out of Virginia Beach in Virginia, and interestingly enough they happen to be very involved in recreational fishing management and fishery studies. In fact, those involved in this vessel happen to freely share their information and from what I see on the internet, have posted some of the finest recreational fishing articles on various species in their region.

Their articles on tile fishing and wreckfish, are probably the best I have seen, and I do highly recommend to anyone interested, to take a look at the six stories they have posted on these fish. Well worth the time to read and re-read again!

Really nice tiles. How deep were you all dropping for them?

Norfolk Canyon golden tile fishing tends to be done close to the 100 fathom depth range and deeper. Blueline tile fishing tends to be done starting from 50 fathom and deeper.

Same as down here, but it's pretty nice to see that electric reels were not used since down here most people would not drop without one in more than 400 feet. Most areas where they are down here have more than 4 knot currents or so. Seeing this video made me itch since I have a trip to the Dry Tortugas where we will try for them, but that will be in October. Long way but this made it closer. Thanks!
