Thanks to the support of so many of you out there, FISHING UNITED.COM continues to grow. We have reached the point where we had to take the next step and that means moving to a new dedicated server, along with upgraded software.

After talking with John K our IT person at PLANET MEDIA, we have intentions of doing the change over after 2 pm this afternoon.[

Now I know many will not read this message in time, but I did give a heads up over the last 2 weeks that a change to the site will be occurring very soon. Well that time has come and that means the site will go offline for a while.

Now with the change, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO RE-LOGIN.

All that means is that you have to enter your USERNAME & PASSWORD, and that will reset a NEW COOKIE. That will allow you to get back into the site to post and read certain sections of the site.

We also have continued to upgrade our security features here. Believe me when I say it has been necessary due to all the overseas spammers who try to register on the site. Seems FISHING UNITED.COM - is pretty well known in the deepest armpits of the third world, who continue to try and get onto the forum boards.

Thanks to our IT Guru John working on this on a Sunday morning, a setting was corrected so that IMAGES will again reload directly.

If you have posted any IMAGES over the last two days and see the word image where your picture should be, you are going to have to reload the image again, and in most likely CHANGE THE FILE NAME. That is simple, just rename the file, and the system will recognize a new image being uploaded.

Hopefully everyone has no problem now using the functions within the site.
