TUNA fishing has improved a bit over the past couple of trips. Nothing great but a few bites here and there and some SWORDFISH mixed in. The tuna have been all YELLOWFIN ranging in size from 30-60 pounds. Depending on the trip, both bait and jigs have worked equally well. The Mahi fishing has still been good with half to full limits being common on our longer trips. For those interested, we still have spots available on upcoming trips.
The SEA BASS and PORGY trips have been very good so far. We've had a number of limits on SEA BASS up to 3 1/4 pounds and on PORGIES to 3 pounds. There's lots of life on all spots from 90-150 feet so we expect fishing to get even better as the water cools.
