OCT 28, 2018 - VOYAGER: DAY TRIP SEA BASS & SCUP - MID & LONG RANGE SEA BASS & SCUP

Postby EC NEWELLMAN » Sun Oct 28, 2018 10:16 pm

After a tough fall for both weather and Tuna fishing, the Voyager takes aim at offshore SEA BASS fishing for the next couple of months.

We start our 11PM offshore trips on November 9 and run a full schedule through December 30.

We are also sailing every Sunday night to Block Island for COD, SEA BASS and PORGIES starting on November 4 through December 16.

We still have plenty of room on most trips but weekends are starting to fill up now. You can E-mail Richie to make reservations

OR call (732) 295-3019 and leave us a message

(Please check our website's TRIP CALENDAR after 6PM the night before the trip to make sure the weather is good enough to sail-It will say TRIP CANCELED if we are NOT going)

From Captain Jeff at 1000 hrs this morning:

Please note-

We have been having problems with our phone system and we cannot retrieve messages. We are currently working with Verizon to fix the problem. If you left us a message at any time after 4:00 PM Tuesday we cannot get it and we don't even know that you called.

Until we resolve the problem, please use E-Mail only to contact us.

The early morning report from Captain Denis on the 5:00 AM mid-range wreck trip was that keeper SEABASS were coming over the rails in good numbers and there were some PORGIES and POLLOCK mixed in.

November 3, 2018 - UPDATE

After hours on the phone with Verizon, they finally admitted that they changed their voice mail system. Even the tech, who was very helpful today, said she didn't know about the change until the day before it went live. The problem seems to be with the sub-mailbox feature.

That being said, we will be leaving the "sail or no sail" messages for overnight trips on the main phone line at 732-295-3019.

In other words you will not have to press menu option number 4 at this time. You will also be able to leave messages and we will be able to retrieve them. You are still always welcome to contact us via E-Mail if you like.
===================================

The report from Captain Denis on the Wednesday 5:00 AM mid-range wreck trip was that keeper SEA BASS were coming over the rails in good numbers and there were some PORGIES and POLLOCK mixed in. The boat ended up with a limit of SEA BASS and some PORGIES. We have this trip again next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Captain Jeff's - NOV. 6, 2018 - UPDATE

On last week's 5:00 AM mid-range wreck we had plenty of keeper SEA BASS and some PORGIES in the mix. The boat ended up with a limit of SEA BASS plus PORGIES and a few POLLOCK. We will be doing this trip again tomorrow and Thursday this week and the weather looks nice for both days! The trip is OPEN BOAT so just come on down.

Our first BLOCK ISLAND trip was a great success with LIMITS of SEA BASS around the boat and plenty of PORGIES if you wanted them. We will have pictures posted soon or you can look on the FISHING UNITED web site now.
