I was introduced to fishing at a very young age, actually from the time I was able to hold my own fishing pole, as I come from a long line of fisherman. My grandfather started me up and shaped my desire to spend countless hours devouted to the water. He was a commercial codfisherman out of Portugal, and before him was his father, so on and so on.

From catching eels and shrimp fishing on the jetties of Sao Jacinto, Portugal to scup fishing off the bridges and jetties of New Bedford, MA my passion was born, to present day hunting for trophy bass, weaks and others that roam our waters. It does not matter what I am targeting as long as I am fishing. To my fishing brothers whom I have met and those whom I will meet in the future, I believe it is our duty to pass on our passion to the young ones in our lives as was done to us!!!!

My belief is this site and the people who are a part of it, will enable us to do so, tight lines.
