if you are lucky enough to catch one that has a dst tag implanted in the til of the fish you can claim a $500 cash reward by saving the whole fish, iced and shipping it to researchers or arranging for a pick up. researchers are asking fisherman to save the entire fish. to grab attention to the tag two pink t bar tags will be on the tail. save the fish on ice and call the toll free number at 1 866 447 2111. researchers are looking for the fishes gender, reproductive state, length an weight at capture, stomach content and other critical details. we do catch monks during june, july and august so i will be paying attention. of course any monk caught with a tag will be the customers fish.

REC , LIMIT VERY LOWER, SIZE INCREASE UNDECIDED. MAY AND JUNE WE DO CATCH MONKS UP TO 50 POUNDS. POOR MANS LOBSTER, GREAT EATING. WHAT IS NEXT, A LIMIT IN SCULPIN OR DOGS.
