Today, 3/2 the ISLAND CURRENT III sailed with a light crowd of anglers. The boat departed SNUG HARBOR MARINA at 3 AM. The bite was EXCELLENT first thing in the morning. There were many double headers coming over the rail. As the morning progressed the bite developed into a steady pick, followed by a slow pick. The overall fishing was very good.

Here are some highlights of the day. Tom & Bo from NJ limited out, Hung Iko from NJ limited out, JR from Jack's Bait & Tackle and Sam Fisher from City Island also had their limit. Pool fish was a tie weighing in at 18.9 pounds.

Check out some pictures of todays catch Tuesday, 3/2/10.
