In the company of good friends, I enjoyed a great morning trip on the Rosie today. Our day started in the bay with some sporty bucktail action, with a few nice keepers to #6 boated amongst the hordes of undersized fish. After a few drifts Capt. James headed outside the inlet where we enjoyed an excellent pick of seabass, with a few triggers, ling, scup, and some more fluke mixed in. I even had a brief encounter with a nice mako who attacked my Berkley Gulp bait, smoking my reel for 6 seconds prior to breaking off my #25 leader which was no match for that beauty!! As always the crew on the Rosie did a great job!! Thanks for a great trip.
