It started out very slow today. On our first stop down the beach I landed a nice 14 pounder but it was the only fish on the stop.

Capt Andrew went searching father down the beach but only a few fish were caught. So offshore we go, anchor up throw in the bait but it was a slow pick. A fish here a fish there. Capt Andrew says put the jigs back on and back to the beach we go. We find some small fish but again not the numbers he wanted.

Then Andrew finds the blue hole . It looked like a big blue area in the middle of the water and in it was a school of very very large fish. Up to the pool winner that was a good 18 pounds. These fish started at about 12 pounds and went up from there.

What a great way to finish the day. We got into the dock at about 4:20 but we couldn't leave this body of fish. Most boats would have gotten back latter but with the new engines the Brooklyn flies.

Need I say thanks to the crew for the extra time to put in a real good catch and for the gaffing of these big boys into the boat...
