We had a good gang on board today and good fishing too - Something that normally doesn't happen.
We got lucky and landed on a pile of hungry Tog today and had plenty of limit catches up to a high hook of 14. We tried a few drops for Ling, but only found a few.
Larry Gove from South Bound Brook, NJ got a Tog around 8 pounds for the pool. Some of the limit catches include Joe, Andre, Kurt (who crushed the Tog this morning), Jose (who caught more than Kurt), and John (9 keepers).
Tomorrow's weather looks similar to today and then the forecast calls for some rain coming our way.

Perfect Tog weather today, windy and cold with ice on the cutting board and dock this morning. Our first drop was no good and we suspect the roller gear guy just offshore of us had taken his share before we got there.
The next drop was much better with most of the boat catching, but some guys not. The last drop was the best and we stayed an extra 40 minutes to let some guys get a few and others get their limit plus.
Marek Nowak made first limit catch of the day and Pat Lamb won the pool with a 7 pound Tog he caught just before three whistles.
Sorry, NO galley till Wednesday.

Captain Danny is still making good Striper catches. The pool winner and high hook on last night's trip (Monday) was 'Grandpa' Drew Racz. Honorable mention goes to Americo Alves, Peter Savrese, and one of our favorite sweethearts, Penny Theresen from Edison, NJ.
